In-Person lessons will resume starting January 31, 2022.

At the height of the Covid pandemic, my studio was forced to adapt to lockdowns by setting up on-line lessons. Now, as we transition to normalcy with gradual easing of restrictions, I am happy that my students have returned to my studio for IN-PERSON lessons, albeit following safety protocols such as wearing masks and keeping social distance.
2021 Virtual Recital
June 21, 2021

For the second time during this COVID pandemic, Lita Zagala Piano Studio held its Annual Spring Recital virtually. This Annual event has been a tradition for the last 31 years where students presented their best performances before large audiences of family and friends. Past recitals were held at the Noel Ryan Auditorium of the Mississauga Central library and in the Living Arts Theater.
Because of the restrictions during this pandemic, the past two recitals were held VIRTUALLY via Zoom. Students recorded their polished pieces in the comforts of their respective homes, and then stitched together to form one whole video clip, presented via Zoom, recorded, then published on Lita Zagala's YouTube channel and Facebook page.

Needless to say, the virtual recitals were all successfully held to the enjoyment of family and friends from various parts of Canada and internationally.
While successful and enjoyable, virtual recitals cannot compare with live in-person recitals held on stage. We hope then that this COVID pandemic disappears in the near future to allow us to return to our in-person recitals that have been immensely enjoyed by family and friends in the past years.
